100TH BOMB GROUP INVITATION!

Hello! You are invited to a mini reunion in Cleveland, Ohio, August 29-31, 2008!

This will be an informal gathering of the 100th Bomb Group members and friends on the Eastern side of the country. We will also be unveiling of a new Robert Bailey print created to honor the men who flew the March 4-6, 1944 missions to Big-B. The print is also the cover of the upcoming new book by our own Michael P. Faley & Luc Dewez

HEADQUARTERS HOTEL:

The Hilton Garden Inn (Airport), 4900 Emerald Court SW. For Reservations: 216-898-1898. Please mention you are calling for the IN-HOUSE RESERVATION FOR THE 100TH BOMB GROUP" (if any problems ask for Lauren). The cut off date is August 15, but we are personally holding a few rooms.

THE PLAN:

Friday, Aug. 29th: Arrive, visit and following dinner at the Hilton Garden Inn, a Historical Roundtable of the Berlin Mission (this will be filmed). Afterwards, there will be more visiting!

Saturday, Aug 30th: After breakfast at the hotel, we will proceed to the airport to see the B-17 and have a photo op. (Transportation provided by the hotel) We will relocate to the 100th Bomb Group Restaurant for visiting, lunch and a tour of the restaurant led by Carol Tallichet. There will be more visiting while the signers spend the day signing the new Robert Bailey print. In the afternoon we will return to the hotel to rest and prepare for dinner at the restaurant.

Sunday, Aug 31st: Breakfast at the hotel, visiting, and departures.
