Comments

Hit by flak during turn to Rally Point. Crew forced to abandon the aircraft due to uncontrollable engine fire and structural fire. Aircraft crashed at Eichholz, 25 km north of Luneburg, Germany and very near the Elbe River. The entire crew successfully bailed out and were taken prisoner.
