Crash: Destroyed on the return at Dunkirk, France by a direct flak hit in the No. 4 engine. The aircraft crossed the Chanel to England and was flying parallel to the English at 2500 feet five hundred yards offshore between Dover and Sandwich when the crew bailed out with disastrous results. Only two of the ten crewmen survived. The KIAs are commomorated on the Wall of the Missing in Cambridge and Ardennes.
