Crash: Destroyed by enemy fighters and made a crash landing between brick-works at Harswegen and Westerhausen - 4 km north of Emden, Germany. S/Sgt Dale Brown (TG) was hit by a flak fragment in the chest and died on the ground shortly after the crash landing. Initially interred in the local cemetery at Wittmund, Grave 211 - moved to Ardennes a the end of hostilities.
