Crash: Hit by flak just before bombs away. The bombs were salvoed and the aircraft fell off on the right wing, colliding with aircraft 43-38124 piloted by Clifford Williams, both were lost. As far as the crash location, the reports are unclear. It is thought 066 crashed into the frozen Elbe River near Radegast, about 3 km south of Boizenburg, Germany.
