Oombtee-Ago
Missing Photo
Raymond L. Heironimus aircraft, "OOMBREE-AGO," on ground in France 11 September 1944. They were on a mission to Ruhland and after being hit they pulled out of a steep dive and crashed in a turnip field near Paris, France as close to the Main Line of Resistance as possible. They were, however, on the Axis side of the MLR but were rescued by French peasants, with the exception of William C. Terry. All were returned to Thorpe Abbotts.
