| One B-17 out of our high squadron (believed to be #057) was seen to have punctured gas tank. Flew under control out of formation. He went below formation and 9 chutes were seen before the A/C disappeared into the overcast. This happened just before leaving the rally point. (Lt. Brady) | ||
