350th Sqdn. When this crew joined the 100th Group on 1/12/43, The Navigator was Lt Price,

and the Bombardier was Lt Eugene Colman. No further records of those men have been found.

 

Crew,as listed above, from ACCIDENT REPORT of 29/1/44. Apparently Lundholm recovered

 from his burns for he is listed as completing a tour.He was transferred from tho 350th to

 the 418th on 17/5/44.  See letter of March 1984 from Ken Everett and  Copy of Accident

 Report,



        "On 29 January 1944, 2nd Lt Lloyd C.Marks, ASN 0-746387 and his crew tookoff on an

 operational mission too Frankfurt in a B-17G A/C #42-31502 (Terry 'N' Ten). The takeoff time was 0631 

and lt was still dark.The weather was overcast at 400 feet with 3 mlles visibility.Shortly after takoff,

 the pilot reported he had climbed to 300 feet and had lost all cockpit lighting. The A/C

 crashed at 0634 about 3 miles west of the field at Frenze Lane,which is NE of Scole. Lt.

 Marks (pilot) and Sgt.Anderson (Engineer)and Lt Lundholm (Copilot) escaped with severe burns

 while the reat or the crew received fatal injuries. The A/C was destroyed."
