This Pard accident happened after VE Day when Ellis {P} & Kreamer {CP} tried to land the AC on a short fighter strip at Duxford just north of London and overshot the runway and crashed the plane into trees. Kreamer told me that the AF seriously threatened them for a long time about having to pay the damage . Finally the demand just went away, he said. This landing was just a first stop of a personal trip to pickup up friends later at a second base. No one was hurt in the landing.. Russ Kendig {TG] has many originals of this crash....Joe Urice
