We know that because she replaced 258 EP-M on Hardstand # 5 sometime after 19 May, 1945 (DIXON aboard 258 M 5 to Horsching DP Ferry) and before her first KNOWN flight based on formation sheets 12 June, 1945 to Casablanca GREEN SUPPORT Troop Ferry "TIBENHAM" with SHADDIX flying, 784 M, HS 5-(Jack O'Leary)
