Crash: On the return flying at 9,000 feet above the overcast, ship 009 pulled up and struck ship 621 from the same Squadron, with it's vertical stabilizer. Ship 009 broke in half at the waist and crashed into the North Sea about 26 miles from the Lowestoft, Suffolk coast.
