Crash: Destroyed by enemy fighters near Schmiedeberg/Spitzberg, Germany. Six of the nine man crew were killed. The six KIAs were initially interred in the cemetery at Oberwiesenthal. They were re-interred to Ardennes but could not be individually identified and received a Group Burial in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery St. Louis, Missouri together with other 100th aircraft that crashed in the area.
