Crew Notes
The nose was sheared from 42-37913. The Germans could only positively identify five bodies, they listed a sixth as Unknown. This was probably either Lt. Donald J. Stuke or Lt. George E. Owens. The Germans recovered the body of Lt. Clarence W. Pullem with the crewmembers of 42-39830 at Aumale-Abancourt, and correctly identified him as having come from 42-37913's crew. The casualties were interred at Beauvais Memorial Cemetery with the exception of Lt. Pullem who was initially interred at Poix de la Somme. (paul west)
