Daniels, Leonard Elvin "Snook"

 94, of Arizona passed away on January 29, 2013. He was born January 17, 1919 in Carthage, Panola Co. Texas to Jettie Roberta Gray and Lewis E. Daniel. He moved from Texas to Arizona in Dec. 1940. There he met and later married Dorsie Onieta Aldridge, who preceded him in death. Together they had a daughter, Doris, his only child. He served in the Army Air Corp as an aviation mechanic for the Eighth Air Force-100th Bomb Group during World War II. After the war he moved to California, residing in Anza and Fallbrook, before returning to Arizona in 1992. He was an active member in the Veterans' of Foreign Wars and the American Legion. He is survived by his daughter, Doris B. McCarthy of San Marcos, Ca; granddaughters, Dawn Brock (Mike) of San Marcos, Ca.; Dana McCarthy of Fallbrook, Ca; great-grandchildren Cheyenne, Kelsey and Kyle and brother Burdette Daniel of Tx.
