comments = My father-in-law was a member of the 100th BG. I'm looking for info on the flying portion of his career. His name was Robert H. "Bob" Davis of San Benito, TX. He passed away in Jan. 2000 and had Alzhiemer's and before that he didn't talk much about his flying. He said he was a tailgunner and on his fifth mision his plane ditched in the English Channel. He later served in the Mess Section. I have his copy of "Contrails-My War Record-100th BG (H)" and his picture is on page 115 (middle picture). Any assistance in this matter would be appreciated.
