I finished my research on a Thorpe Abbotts veteran of Two World Wars.
William "Will" P. Felch, Born 23 Sept 1890 Died October,1969...No day provided to Social Security. Died at the age of 79
That makes him in his early 50's when drafted for World War II. BOTH of his Draft cards for World War I and World War II are on ancestry.com
"Will" was in Company C,23rd Engineers,roadbuilding in France in 1918
He was a T/Sgt in the 456th SubDepot.Transportation area at Thorpe Abbotts. I attached his photo from Page 260 of Contrails,My War Record. God he is about 55 years old in that photo! Looks Old.
