There is a photo of Harry Jenkins on a metal ladder next to the nose art for Picadilly Lilly….the caption under the photo reads; WORCESTER. Cpl. Harry W. Jenkins, 23, Epworth St. Worcester,member of the ground crew of the famed bomber " Picadilly Lilly" at an 8th Air Force base in England,points to bombs painted on ship,designating successful missions over Reich. He graduated from Worcester Commerce High in '39,and worked at various jobs until his induction in September, '42. He served at Ft. Devens,Kessler Field,Tex. Then studied motors in the West. Although Cpl. Jenkins left this country more than a year ago,he still follows the fortunes of Holy Cross through "Stars and Stripes" and "Yank", soldier publications. His hobby is movie photography…
