Sir, 

 

I would like to report that TSGT George Leland has died last year and I was given his historical files to include his diary of the days on Abott Field and in the 349th.  He has some details included in his diary and I would love to share these with the group.  As well, I have some additional photos of some aircraft that are simular to the ones on the website but show the ground crew going over the battle damage on the other side of the planes.  I also have some flak from an airplane which is still unknown.  

 

George is my grandfather and I would like to honor him with the contribution to your site.
