WENDYL SOWL sn 15086024 Was originally with the 1141st Quartermaster Co. and transferred to aerial gunnery. Assigned to 100th BG 349th BS on September 7, 1943 along with PFC Arthur V. Congrove and PFC Edward J. Hoffman, He had flown 14 missions by March 2, 1944. On his 15th Mission he was brought back and taken to the Hospital and removed from flying status.
