I just had a call from George Berry, an original of the 100th from the start in the US and until the end of the war (he was transferred to the 97th to be sent home) and stayed in the AF.  He was an armorer in the 349th and he never heard about the Association / Foundation until recently.  I've encouraged him to attend the reunion.  I bet he's got some good stories.  He has a picture of the entire 100th taken at Wendover Field, UT in November 1942 - it's about 3 1/2 ft long and has all the personnel with 2 B17s behind, one facing the camera and one facing right.  Do you have a copy of it Mike?  George is going to make a copy for me to bring to the reunion in case he can't make it.  He's got the web address, but maybe you could send him a registration form by email Jan.  He's a very talkative guy and knew all the commanders etc throughout the war.  He was there when the plane with the Red Cross girls didn't make it off the runway and was surprised that the story has been told.  Both of you feel free to contact him and encourage him to come to the reunion.  Let's give him a 1 year free membership to encourage him - we may get some new material from him.
