My father was Carl Melvin Nelson (1919-1995), who was a corporal (medic / ambulance driver) in the 412th Air Service Group, which contained the medical support group for the 100th BG. He is buried at Saint Margaret Cemetery, Minnetonka, Hennepin County, Minnesota, United States.
