Irving Bienstock 8th AF February 16, 2019
Irving served in the US Army first as a combat medic, and then further trained as a dental technician, transferring to the 8th AF 2nd Strategic Air Depot. During winter and spring 1945, Irving was at Thorpe Abbotts treating injured 100th BG airmen as their B-17s returned from combat missions. Irving was profiled in Splasher Six (Summer 2018), and his son, Ron, is Legal Counsel for the 100th BG Foundation.
