In Dutch at the beginning with Marlies who organized the entire event being interviewed, well worth the wait until the food drop veterans come on, also Charles Clark, Bomber Command vet, Luft III veteran speaks about their efforts to build a monument in Piccadilly Square for the 56,000+ RAF Bomber Command airmen lost. the Manna flyers talk about their food drop experiences. Excellent clip that shows the Dutch children that take care of the memorial which is nearby their school and their airplanes they made for the event. Beechcraft doing a low pass. The U.S. Captain that comes in at the seven minute mark is U.S. Navy Captain, Daniel E. Braswell,USNA, Senior Defense Official, Def/Naval Attache. U.S. EMB Den Haag places the USA wreath at the memorial. The woman behind him in glasses is the Netherlands ambassador.

Robert "Rosie" Rosenthal "From Brooklyn to Berlin" Part 1
© 2005, Jewish American Hall of Fame Lt. Col. Robert Rosie Rosenthal--hero of the Bloody 100th Bomb Group, flew 52 missions against the Nazis, winning the Distinguished Service Cross, Silver Star, French Croix de Guerre, etc.—describes his exploits from Brooklyn to Berlin. This modest patriot—from the Greatest Generation—later was an assistant to the United States Prosecutor at the Nuremberg Trials, where he interrogated Nazi leader Hermann Goering. Rosie was inducted into The Jewish-American Hall of Fame in 2005.

Tour with visitors from the 95th Bomb Group as they visit Thorpe Abbotts, one of the last standing Heavy Bomber Airbases in England. Home to the famous "Bloody Hundredth" 100TH BOMB GROUP (HEAVY) this base saw many B17's take off to bomb Nazi targets in Europe, and sadly many did not return. These photos are put to music of Blue Harlem - popular UK Swing Band.
