Frank W. Dicker, Lt. Col. US ARMY, (ret.) age 82,passed away in peace Sunday, 14 Sept,2003 in Albuquerque,NM.
Mentions his 100th BG service as well as serving two tours in Vietnam. TG on the Roy N. Kallstrand crew,418thBS,arrived at T/A 8 JAN,1945, FEH
DICKER -- Frank W. Dicker, Lt. Col., US Army (ret), age 82, passed away in peace on Sunday, September 14, 2003 in Albuquerque. Frank, a resident of Albuquerque is survived by his wife, Dolores Dicker; sons, Michael Dicker of Albuquerque, Thomas Dicker of Tullahoma, TN, Paul Dicker of San Antonio, TX and Joseph Dicker of Albuquerque. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Frank was a decorated career soldier. As a WWII combat veteran, he served in Europe with the 8th Air Force as a B-17 crewmember in the elite 100th Bomb Group. Frank also served two combat tours in Vietnam. After retiring from the Army, Frank worked with the Navajo Nation. Frank was a loving father and husband, adventurous, bold, and lived life to the fullest. He left a legacy; a model for his children to follow.
