S- Sgt. Joseph F. Keenan, 19, Main St. Springfield,graduated from Springfield Tech in '42,and worked for A.G. Spalding,Chicopee,until induction. He trained at Miami Beach,and graduated from armorer and gunnery school at Buckley Field,Col. He's a ball and turret gunner in a Flying Fortress  at an 8th Air Force base in England,and won the Air Medal last May 21st……(

Hello,



I wanted to let you know that my father passed away, Tuesday, September 18, 2007 from pancreatic cancer. His name is:Joseph F. Keenan

He was in the 100th Bomb Group during World War II.  He flew with Andy’s Dandies and was the ball turret gunner.

My father was a member of the 8th Air Force Historical Society, as well as the Distinguished Flying Cross Society.

If there is anyone else I should notify, please let me know.
