I sadly advise that Wilbur William Kreamer passed away at Blue Springs, MO at 11:50 AM on Saturday, 11 April 2015 following a long illness. Meyers Funeral Home of that city is handling the services and following cremation, his ashes will be spread upon his farm near Pine City, MN.  



Wilbur was born in Salamanca, NY on 5 July, 1922.  Prior to joining the military and later the 100thBG, he attended a college in Buffalo, NY for two years. As most of you already know, Wilbur flew his combat missions as Copilot with the Munoz Crew.  Following VE Day, he transferred to the Bob Ellis crew {also as CP} and he continued a lifelong close friendship with those individuals. Prior to that latter Ellis association, Wilbur had been offered a first pilot position with his own crew but he preferred to fly with Ellis instead.



He is survived by his special friend of 40 years, Donna Sisk, also of Blue Springs, and additionally by Wilbur’s one son, Jay Kreamer of St Paul, MN.   Joe Urice

WILBUR WILLIAM KREAMER Obituary

Wilbur William Kreamer, 92, Blue Springs, Mo., passed away peacefully Saturday, April 11, 2015. He was born July 5, 1922, in Salamanca, NY. Wilbur proudly served his country during WWII flying in over 25 missions as a B-17 bomber pilot in the 100th Bomb Group. He retired from the Federal Railroad Administration as an Inspector of Signals and Train controls. Wilbur enjoyed woodworking, and made furniture as well as many other items. He loved his retirement on the Minnesota farm and driving the tractor around. He was Methodist by faith. Wilbur enjoyed hiking in the woods and traveling. Wilbur is survived by his longtime companion, Donna Sisk of Blue Springs, and son, Jay Kreamer of Eagen, Minn. He was preceded in death by son, Steve Kreamer; two sisters; one brother; and his parents. Wilbur has been cremated per his wishes. Arr.: Meyers Funeral Chapel in Blue Springs.
