To whom it may concern,

I have been searching your website for any possible photographs of my grandfather. He was a member of the 349th squadron, his name is Wilbur I. Trembley Jr., and became a POW on 6 MAR 1944. From what I can discern from your website he was a crew member on A/C 42-30170. I have some photos of him in his uniform, but was hoping to find one of him with his crew, and/or aircraft. If there is any information you could give me it would be greatly appreciated as to how I would go about finding such a photograph.

I myself served nine years in the Air Force, as well as six years in the Army. I have been working on photograph gallery chronicling the military service history of my family. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Kevin M. Herrera

Mr. Faley,

I was in contact with you several months back inquiring about any photos of my grandfather, Wilbur I. Trembley, and you graciously obliged my request. In return you asked if I had any photos of my own that I could share with your group, which I do. I apologize for the tardiness in getting these photos to you, but with nine children things tend to get a little hectic.

Again I apologize for the tardiness of these photos. The first one is his service picture, my mother is not sure of the date. The second one is his wedding picture with my grandmother Francis Leah Knoedler, taken Sept. 16, 1945.

Thank you,

Kevin M. Herrera
