On 7/10/43 Special Orders #21 (Hdq. 3rd Bomber Division) the following crew was
transferred from the 100th Bomb. Gp To the 482nd Bomb.Gp for Pathfinder training.
Crew departed Thorpe Abbotts on 10/10/43 for Alconbury to join the 482 Bomb Group (Pathfinders)

My father, Vanden J. Willey, passed away in 1983. He was a Navigator on the "Phartzac" # 42-30358. He was transfered from the 100th Bomb Group, 350th Bomb Squadron to the 482nd Pathfinders on 7/10/43. I think he was in the 812th Bomb Squadron there
