S/Sgt Maynard Parsons (middle) (WG, 350th Sq). Parsons was one of the four airmen rescued by Danish fisherman when their B-17 went down in the North Sea on the 25 July 1943 mission to Kiel. Fellow Waist Gunner Charles Mayville is standing beside Parsons with his hand on his shoulder. Mayville unfortunately did not survive that mission. George Rudden is standing far left.
