Photo of 44-8876 with the 303rd BG, Didn't realize it at the time but that ship arrived at TA really late from the research I just finished on it. Got to TA in May, 1945 from the 303rd BG, painted up to 100th BG markings and placed on HS #.48, 418th BS markings LN-U and assigned to ED GEORGE's crew in June, 1945. flew their first mission I have records for to Casablanca 12 June, 1945 and I suspect it left TA in mid-oct, 1945 flying the Southern Route back up through South America to Florida and scrapped at Walnut Ridge,AK....
