Crew member of Boeing B-17F 42-3233 "Our Baby". 350th Bomb Squadron, 100th Bomb Group, Thorpe Abbotts.
Drawing made for Ann Hodge, Harry's daughter.
"Our Baby" was shot down by FW-190 fighters on October 8, 1943 when it was on a raid over Bremen.

The entire crew survived.
The POWs were held by the Germans at Stalag 17B in Austria from October 8, 1943, to April 8, 1945. On April 8, 1945, 4,000 of the POWs began an 18-day march of 281 miles to Braunau, Austria.
Harry survived the march.
