The latest from the bench. A tribute build for Paul Marcello, who among other talents is one of the site administrators for the 100th Bomb Group Facebook group page. His grandfather flew this PFF AC. Those with a very keen eye may note that there is a radio room gun in these shots. It was my brain cramp that led to that error. It has since been corrected in the model to be sent to Paul. Kit and build details: 1:72 scale Airfix kit Mostly from the box, but with Master Models gun barrels. Chin turret and top turret rotate freely. Guns in top turret and tail have range of motion. All other guns fixed in place. Nose numerals, fuselage squadron codes XR B, and tail serial number and letter from a 3rd party decal maker who will remain nameless. All other decals from the kit. Not at all happy with the 3rd party product. Very poor printing, had to use several overcoats to protect, and not sure that will be enough. Several other 100th BG birds in the queue.
