John Alden Clark: “ You could not have known this but the aircraft in the background in the photo,"Lucky Lassie", was not one we ever flew. The photo is our traditional crew photo when we completed or missions but the actual air craft we normally flew, "Miss Conduct", A-Able 525, was in repair and unable to be used as background. So, to provide a suitable background for our final crew photo we used "Lucky Lassie" which was parked on a hard stand opposite our normal one in the 418th BS area.”
