Hi Pat Lee, The Plane was not named and had no nose art on it. It was B-17G # 43-38381 LD (418th Squadron code) Z (call sign). Pat there really is no info we have on the Crew other than what is in our files and on the web site. Check this out and maybe it has more info than you currently have. Can you see if there any Crew photos in the family of Sgt Hudgens and the Mayo Crew? Or any shots of sgt Hudgens in Uniform? If I can be of any other help, please let me know?CREW2nd Lt William Mayo P KIA 31/12/44 HAMBURG2nd Lt Albert L.Eib CP KIA 31/12/442nd Lt Arthur A.Cohen NAV KIA 3l/12/44 *Sgt Peter Radich,Jr. TOG KIA 31/12/44 *Sgt Robert J.Hayes ROG KIA 31/12/44Sgt Robert E.Corum TTE KIA 31/12/44 A/C#43 38381Sgt Nelson R.Dickenson BTG KIA 31/12/44 * MACR #11362,Microfiche #4181Sgt Bernard P.Stell WG KIA 31/12/44Sgt Luther C.Hudgens TG KIA 31/12/44 * 418th Sqdn.
